One Accord Marriage Workshop

It is with great excitement and hope that we send this invitation to you, for you or a married couple that you know, to participate in the One Accord Marriage Workshop. This is an opportunity to create a legacy of restoration, reconciliation and hope.

Contrary to popular belief, children are not the center of a family. It is the relationship of a husband and wife, the mother and father, who create, nurture and develop productive and healthy children in a family and society.

Are you married? Do you know a married couple that would like to increase the intimacy in their relationship? If you are married, how is your relationship with your spouse? On a scale between 1 and 10, how would you honestly measure your relationship? What would it take to move your relationship up on the scale towards a more honest, open and intimate one?

The One Accord Workshop could be a resource - a provision - to help you realize what God has for you in your marriage and to establish a legacy of love, hope and faith for you, your spouse, your family and your community.

The Discovery Seminar is a breakthrough for negotiating new and different strategies for loving and living, a means to gain experience and insight into the fundamental assumptions that govern your life, and an opportunity to order the chaos in your life and to release the unique beauty of God's gift in you.

Discovery is a response to the cry for a radical change.

In the Discovery Seminar, you will get at the root of your self-perceptions and your strategies for loving, living, relating, and achieving intimacy with God and people. You will gain a new vantage point on your life, from which new possibilities will be both evident and achievable.

Fruit from The Discovery Seminar
The disciplines required in examining ourselves transform the foundations of our spiritual life--the way we think, relate, feel, and behave. At this core level we do not find formulas or dogma; we find the mind of God. The Divine process of transformation that Discovery facilitates is an ongoing act of preparing for God's love in you as well as the unique, continuing expression of your love to others. The results of this process include:

• Clarifying your vision for the future and prioritizing your commitments to better serve your calling. You will develop your ability to take action in ways that contribute to the vision and destiny God has revealed through your longings to love and be loved.
• Deepening the fulfillment you experience in the most fundamental aspects of life--especially in daily activities such as working with your spouse, building a career, educating your children, and making wise and diligent choices when it comes to relating to friends and family. You will begin to experience making the difference your life was destined to make.
• Breaking through the cultural assumptions, opinion, theory, and thinking that is designed to make you believe that you are a product of your past or environment. Discovery is a call to a future compelled by imagination and grounded in what God has revealed through your gifts and most intimate longings.
• Developing ways of thinking that compel you to relate to mystery, risk, and change as opportunities instead of problems. You will practice valuable disciplines that will support you in resolving conflict and breakdown with hope, grace, and mercy.
• Engaging your daily commitments with a confidence that the Spirit of God is with you. You will experience an anticipation and sense of adventure when facing the challenges and struggles that naturally arise out of ordering the chaos of everyday life as well as taking on the risks and responsibilities of loving another person.

The Clearing

The Clearing is an opportunity for you to lay the specific groundwork for an unprecedented future. This workshop is designed to support you in developing clarity about the specific future you desire as well as discovering the way of being necessary to bring about that future.

The Clearing supports you in the following ways:

• If you are unclear on what unprecedented future you want to pursue.
• If you are clear on your unprecedented future, but desire support in how to achieve it.
• If you feel inadequate to produce that future you desire in your heart.
• If you are committed to develop the leadership skills to produce the impossible.
• If you are committed to playing life to win in all areas of life.
• If you are committed to reinvent who you are being in the world.
• If you want to break through past performance and current circumstances.
• If you would like to exercise faith in an unprecedented fashion.
• If you would like to gain clarity in what God's calling is for you.
• If you would like to be a more effective and powerful advocate for genuine community and authenticity in your current responsibilities at church, work, ministry or family.
  

• How to empower others in a way that brings powerful results, learning and enjoyment.
• The art of taking a stand that energizes those around you rather than a position that creates resistance.
• The specifics of pursuing an impossible future-what it means and how you can literally accomplish it.
• Reinventing your future through declarations and requests.
• How your past success could be inhibiting the future God has for you and what to do about it.
• How to utilize your internal conversations to create possibilities rather than shut them down.

This is an opportunity to dramatically change your belief in what is possible in your life. It can serve as a turning point from a predictable future to an unprecedented future based on faith and a vision fueled by what God sees as possible for you.
